Meditation - Know Your True Feelings

 

Lie, or sit up straight, do not arch your back and take a deep                                                             breath in and slowly let it out Spiritual_Healing_Gold_Coast_Meditation_-_Know_Your_True_Feelingsthrough your mouth. Then breathe in again but this time, imagine that you are breathing through your heart (see a nose there on your heart if it helps) and then breathe slowly out through your mouth. Do this 3 more times and feel yourself relax.


After a few minutes and as you continue to relax, switch your focus to your breathing and feel your breath as you breathe in and out. Follow the feeling of the breath, focus on the gentle movement and rhythm as you inhale and exhale. Continue in this way for a few minutes, feeling yourself connecting more with your inner self.


Now focus on your heart chakra and image, sense or visualise a door way there and in your mind open the doorway and see a  golden staircase going down. Descend the staircase counting down in your mind from 10-1, and as you descend feel your self relaxing more and more and drawing inward.

 

Staircase To Your Inner Feelings

When you get to the bottom of the staircase you see a golden door which you gently push open. Inside the room is circular and filled with  a warm, soft light.  As you enter the room, the door quietly closes behind you and you find yourself standing in the centre of the room. It's very safe in here and you feel calm and safe.  This room is inside your heart and is the doorway into your inner self, where you have the opportunity to connect with the real you and your true feelings and listen to what your heart is telling you.      

You notice that you are surrounded by closed doors and that these doors can take you further into your self and particular situations or issues for which you need guidance.   It's here that you can ask your specific questions, like "Why am I creating or allowing this situation?"  "How is this serving me, what are the hidden benefits?" If you ask with the intent that you want to know the truth, it will be shown to you. 


Now push open a door, any door that you are drawn too, (the door helps to distract the conscious mind and thereby inhibiting the possibility of a predetermined response ie. what you may want to hear).   As you enter that space you may be shown old forgotten memories, or you may experience feelings in certain parts of your body. 

If you are not sure of what you are being shown, ask for clarity, ask for specifics. If you experience certain sensations, as in energy moving throughout your body, follow it with your mind and see where it leads you, or tells you. 


If you experience feelings, as in anger or sadness,  allow the feeling to play out until you understand what the message is in relation to that particular feeling.


Each one of us receives our messages in different ways. If you are visualise keep asking to be shown more detail if necessary. If you are more of a feeling person, follow and observe your feelings to see where they lead. You can also ask for guidance by saying, for example,  "show me how to resolve this situation with compassion", or "teach me how to ". The "to" being that for which you are requesting guidance.

 

Keeping a Journal

When you have finished your questions and feel its time to come out of the meditation, thank your higher mind for its support; and send a wave of love to yourself and all involved by placing yourself, and others and the situation in a ball of pink light,  and ask for healing and resolution that supports the best for all involved. See the situation dissolve in the pink light of compassion.

Ground your energy by imaging your legs going into the earth and your toes become roots which anchor deep into the earth. Breathe the earth energy up through your legs and into your heart and slowly open your eyes. Spend some time writing down your experiences, what you have learnt and what you plan to do, to resolve the situation.

Make a commitment to yourself to honour your feelings and those of others on a daily basis.
