What Is Crystal Healing?

Crystal Healing like energy and spiritual healing is focused on the individual as a whole not just on the symptons. Crystal Healing takes into account the emotions, the mind and the spirit essence of the person seeking help in order to promote an overall feeling of well-being, taking all issues into consideration. Crystal Healingis a wonderful complementary to orthodox medicine. During a Crystal healing the healers act as a channel for the beneficial healing energies as provided from each crystal, with the energy being directed to the appropriate parts of the body.

Crystals have been used for healing probably for thousands of years and are considered an ancient form of healing. Each crystal contains specific properties and vibrations that can relate to different parts of our body and which are used to alleviate specific conditions. The vibration of each crystal is unique, formed as a result of its colour, chemical composition, inner atomic structure and frequency and its shape. The properties of the crystal work with energy in different ways, making them a wonderful tool for healing, for example they:

What To Expect During a Crystal Healing Session

During the treatment you remain fully clothed, lying down with crystals being placed on and, or around your body. You may feel your body relaxing or feel a tingling sensation. You may also feel movement of energy, a "shifting" as if something is being lifted from your body. Changes can be very subtle or more intense depending upon the nature of the problem. Following a crystal healing you may also feel that the condition has intensified slightly. This is just your body's way of letting you know that changes are occurring and the condition is being released. This occurs usually within a few days of a treatment. What you can expect to feel will be explained to you at the time.

In crystal healing the healer connects to the auric field of the person seeking help, to assess what conditions need healing. Where people can suffer from iden tical symptoms, the cause of these symptoms may vary from person to person, therefore, the imbalance noted by the healer may be the result of something quite different. As each individual is unique the healer will use crystals specific to a person's needs. The crystal healer connects into the crystals where the healer is guided to use the crystals in a specific way or specify layout on the person's body. Crystal wands may be used, for example, to cut out energy or redirect energy from one part of the body to another.

The crystals remove and transmute old stagnate energy from the aura that can cause sickness as well as removing and transmuting dis-eased energy from organs and the chakras which can be held in place by the physical sickness. Clearer, purer, uplifting (higher frequency) healing energy then flows into the auric field replacing the old energy that has been trapped in our body.

Which Crystals To Use?

There are literally hundreds of different minerals and crystals. During a healing session, only a few of these may be applied. Each healer will be guided as to which to use. Many books provide guidance on crystals listing their individual properties and uses and area good source of information from which to learn more about these incredible stones. But as the healer progresses with their understanding and knowledge, their own intuition will provide guidance on how and when they should use particular crystals.
