Bringing Abundance and Success

What affects your ability to let abundance and success come into your life?

How you think about your own capacity to bring in abundance and success is one of the biggest indicators of how much of both you will have in your life. Another indicator is how enthusiastic you feel about all the steps necessary to help you bring in abundance and success.

So focus, effort and a belief that you can achieve what you want is what will get you there. So why is it so hard sometimes ?

Abundance of course can mean many things to many people. You might want an abundance of love, an abundance of opportunity to do things you love or an abundance of material resources.

Success, and how you measure it will also be a very personal thing for you. Achieving goals, doing whatever it is you set out to do or simply enjoying happy times can stand for success for you.

The degree of focus, effort and enthusiasm you can bring to bear in any situation depends on your family’s expectation of you and on the kind of experiences you have as you are growing up. It doesn’t depend on how brainy you are or the finances available to you.

You will know immediately if past experiences of any sort are holding you back. If you have an internal dialogue around ‘You will never make it’ or ‘You are too stupid to do well’ or ‘Nothing ever works for me’ then somewhere along the line someone said that to you or you took that belief in at a deep level and decided it applied to you.

Think about it. A little baby is not born with beliefs and attitudes about what he or she can or cannot do. However that little baby can very quickly pick up how people around her think she/he will do. So if you are having difficulty feeling abundant and successful in your life it is most likely you have beliefs about your own capacities which sap your energy, cloud your clear thinking and direct you into expecting failure and lack.

Fortunately there is a whole range of processes which can help you rid yourself of unfounded beliefs about your capacity and distorted or erroneous expectations about what you can achieve.

Case Studies:

Mary
came to see Sandy because she found it really hard to get ahead in her profession. She was a Teacher and really loved it but every time she had to speak up in a Staff Meeting, present a demonstration lesson or take a prominent role of any sort she became very anxious, got really flustered and generally presented herself in a bad light. She knew what was happening but no matter how many times she gave herself pep talks or decided that this time she would do better, the same thing happened.

Sandy took Mary’s history and discovered that she grew up in a large family where she and all her siblings competed for attention from loving but very busy parents. She had loud, aggressive siblings on either side of her and always finished up being shouted down or ignored as someone else took the limelight. She came to believe that she wasn’t very clever after her sister often dismissed whatever she said with a withering ‘What would you know!’ Her father would get each of the children to talk about their day at the dinner table but Mary was shy and didn’t say very much because she came to feel she didn’t have much to contribute. Sandy decided to use Hypnosis with Mary to strengthen her sense of confidence in herself and her ability. Over a series of sessions she helped Mary let go of the hurtful memories she had of her past and asked her inner mind, that mind which everyone has which is always willing to help and see things differently, to remember all the times when Mary had performed very, very competently and well.

Very quickly Mary started to experience herself differently when she was teaching. She lost her self consciousness with other teachers in the room and felt energised and confident. She started to speak up boldly in Staff Meetings bringing wisdom and her love of teaching to bear in solving the many issues that confront teaching staff. She started, in fact to experience success where previously she had been experiencing failure.

Stuart had an idea for a business which had a very good chance for success. He had done his research on the demand for the service he would be offering and he had also been realistic about the number of potential customers for that service in the local area. However he lacked confidence in his ability to attract customers. He let opportunity after opportunity go in getting his business off the ground because he was convinced something awful would happen if he took the risks involved in backing his own judgment.

When Stuart came for his first session Sandy scanned his energy field and could see many clouded and dark areas that obscured the shining and powerful truth of his inner being. These cloudy, dark areas represented the erroneous beliefs he had about himself, beliefs which had been part of his upbringing from an early age. Stuart’s parents had had a very hard time and never expected anything to work for them or their children. They were understandably bitter about life and were discouraging about their childrens hopes and dreams.

Sandy taught Stuart the easy to learn but extremely powerful Theta Healing Techniques. Initially she facilitated his use of these techniques so he had her support as he learned how to dissolve his own erroneous beliefs. With her help he became very good at identifying the inner beliefs which held him back and very good at using Theta Healing Techniques to dissolve those beliefs. Sandy also taught him how to replace erroneous beliefs with beliefs in his competence and ability. As time went on Stuart found he could easily take advantage of opportunities that came his way. As happens for a lot of Sandy’s clients he gradually became so used to succeeding that he actually found it hard to remember what it had been like before he had been introduced to powerful Spiritual Healing techniques.
